Ecotourism - Canoeing, Kayaking

We Are More Than Just Fishing & Hunting!

The area around Kabinakagami Lake is a diverse and beautiful landscape.

Windy Point Lodge is located on one of the main peninsulas near the middle of Kabinakagami Lake. With trails on site and the abandoned Hiawatha Gold Mine a short boat trip away makes for some amazing adventures. There are more than 140 islands to explore on the lake, many of which have lunch spots where you can sit at a picnic table and enjoy the view of this nearly untouched wilderness. Free kayak & canoe rentals are available for your convenience.

Beautiful and Untamed Kabinakagami Lake

Kabinakagami Lake is 25 miles long and 30,802 acres in size (approximately 48 square miles or 127 square kilometers) with numerous creeks and rivers leading in & out worth exploring. Checkout Chipmunk Falls, see the beavers at work near their dams, or photograph Bald & Golden eagles in one of the dozens of shoreline nests. Along with Loons, Moose, Ospreys and much more wildlife.
